In honor of the anniversary of Nori’s Gotcha Day
I took the dogs for a quick walk after the rain this morning and stayed completely dry until one tree took the opportunity to dump about a cup of water just on my head. It must have gotten too heavy to hold, but it felt personal. I had to laugh!
I thought I had figured it out before, but I lost my notes! The key I think is to not use the fast boil on induction if you’re then going to simmer. But it’s so tempting
Speaking of Clive, I’m sure I have mentioned he only knows one dog trick—sit—but he is otherwise quite smart. When we came across a new little free library, he didn’t believe me there were no dog treats and wouldn’t leave until I opened the door for him to see. Now he will ignore that one on walks.

Still trying to figure out how to make perfect hard boiled eggs with our newish induction cooktop. Tried the steam method here, but only achieved something between hard and soft. I think if I do a medium simmer instead of slow it should work? (They used gas)
