Using numerous (n = 57390) & long, up to 100 yrs, time series of vegetation resurveys, from the #ReSurveyEurope database, we found local species richness (alpha-diversity) to increase by 0.2% per yr, associated with gains in functional & phylogenetic diversity ⬇️
