The first grand jury proceeding in the Broadview Six case began with a *textbook example* of forbidden prosecutorial vouching. Misconduct from the start. Just incredible stuff.
There are two types of administrative warrants ICE can issue. The Form I-200 is the one folks are most familiar with. That's for noncitizens before and during removal proceedings.
But there's a Form I-205, used to arrest noncitizens with a final removal order.

I don't post most of the opinions I get bc they're available on PACER and will likely be on Habeas Dockets/Westlaw soon. But I want to share this one, because I got a ruling on what I believe to be a novel issue of law, and it could be helpful to other practitioners

This matters a lot bc, at least in MN, ICE has largely shifted gears towards going after people who're already in the immigration system. Most of my clients are folks who were ordered removed but haven't been deported yet for one reason or another. This enforces an I-205 warrant requirement for them
I could not find a single case nationwide to issue a ruling on the screws of this issue: whether a Form I-200 can be used to arrest an individual with a final order for removal. Maybe there's one out there that my limited time and resources couldn't uncover.
