This engraving (ca. 1600) features images of crucified female martyrs: among them, St. Julia of Corsica (6th c), St. Eulalia of Barcelona (martyred during the reign of Diocletian), St. Blandina (tortured during the Marcus Aurelius era). It's the kind of thing 19th c. evangelicals might like.
