Unregulated sand mining in the San Jacinto River is destroying its natural flow and increasing flood risks for communities like Kingwood & Atascocita. Yet, Rep. Charles Cunningham refuses to regulate these operations. It's time to hold our officials accountable.
Charles Cunningham has represented HD-127 for 4 years. In that time, our district flooded.
His response?
-A temporary dredging district
-Zero sand mining legislation
-Zero of the 16 planned detention basins built
I'm running for State Rep to finish the job he left undone. michelleforstaterep.com
It's simple: Texas needs to increase the state minimum salary and per-pupil allotment to pay teachers a living wage.
Teachers don't want incentive programs that most will never qualify for. It's time for Texas to pay its fair share of public eduction.
I oppose incentive pay for Texas teachers for two main reasons:
๐ The distribution is inconsistent and unfair across districts.
๐ It's being used as a substitute for a real, living wage.
Our teachers deserve fair pay, not a lottery. #Txlege #TeacherPay

This November, let's use our collective power at the polls to elect candidates who will fully fund our schools and support educators.
