Health policy, Baltimore, *personal views*
Melissa Schober
Fellow Medicaid nerds: MACPAC June report to Congress has two chapters on kids. One on residential services for youth and the other on services for transition age youth. (I was involved with the first prior to my resignation. I miss them but an end to gender affirming FEHB affected our family)

Hell is not hot enough
Hi, we saw you from across the bar, and we'd like to give you health care.

Day two.
The current weather in Baltimore is unacceptable. The dew point is out of order.
Tattoo pop-up at Fruit Camp with Blacksauce? Yes please. (I got a ramp)
Medicaid work requirement rules and cost neutrality SMD letter. Enough regulatory and sub regulatory guidance. Full up, no room at the inn, stuffed, no thank you.
And I looked at the Labor-HHS markup. Zeroed out school health. Cuts elsewhere. Think I'm going to slowly melt onto the floor for a while.
Down the block someone is having a tough day: we're on the fifth or sixth consecutive play of Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart.
A horrendous week for MTA. Light rail issues with lack of operators, delays. Cancelled MARC runs, issues with real time bus info, subway delays. We desperately need infrastructure investment (capital and operating). Massachusetts passed a wealth tax for education and transit. Maryland hasn't.
