[9/9] It is not clear why these three deployments required non-civilian captains, or if this is becoming (will become) standard practice for certain missions.
[8/9] In July 2024-February 2025, Captain 1st Rank Yan Avramenko (Deputy Chief, Auxiliary Fleet, Baltic Fleet) temporarily served as captain for Yelnya during a 236-day deployment that included operations in the Caribbean and Mediterranean Sea.

[4/9] Yaroslav Mudryy has been inactive since 2022, undergoing repairs at Amber Baltic Shipyard multiple times between 2023 and 2025. The ship has not been mentioned by official sources since summer 2023, when it was placed on static display during that year’s Navy Day parade in Baltiysk.
[5/9] Did Korotych ride along with Oginskiy on Stoykiy, or was he assigned to Altay-class tanker Yelnya? Likely the latter.
☠️ Naran Ochir-Goryaev, the Russian officer who personally briefed Putin on the supposed capture of Siversk, has been eliminated. Ochir-Goryaev became known for spreading Kremlin propaganda, claiming Russian losses were “minimal” and accusing Ukrainian defenders of atrocities against civilians

[3/9] Absent from the ceremony was anyone clearly identified as the captain of Yelnya, which supported Stoykiy during the deployment. The Yelnya crew was present at the ceremony; at least one crew member received a deployment award.

[7/9] In August-October 2024, Captain 2nd Rank Andrey Kulshin served as captain of Ingul-class salvage/rescue vessel Altay during that year’s annual Arctic expedition. At the time, Kulshin was billeted as head of a Northern Fleet emergency rescue squadron.
