[6/9] Yelnya, like most auxiliary vessels (except special-purpose vessels) serving in the RF Navy, has an entirely civilian crew. But at least three times over the past two years (including this deployment), RF Navy auxiliaries have had non-civilian captains assigned during deployments.
[4/9] Yaroslav Mudryy has been inactive since 2022, undergoing repairs at Amber Baltic Shipyard multiple times between 2023 and 2025. The ship has not been mentioned by official sources since summer 2023, when it was placed on static display during that year’s Navy Day parade in Baltiysk.
