An illustrated guide to prehistoric life in the Midwest from Ohio to North Dakota! Artwork and posts by Corbin Rainbolt
Prehistoric Midwest

Hi all! Just starting here on Bluesky, we've been posting for a while on Instagram as Paleo Kansas City but we've decided to make a Bluesky page as well! We make our own paleoart and we post about prehistoric animals found in the Midwest! Here's a Triceratops post to start things off!
Cuvieronius was an elephant relative with spiral-shaped tusks! The genus was found in parts of North and South America during the Pleistocene epoch

Ceratosaurus was a large carnivorous dinosaur from the late Jurassic period! It's best known for having large horn-like structures over its eyes and nose.
Here's some Paleoart of prehistoric seabirds found in the shallow seas which once covered most of the Great Plains during the late Cretaceous period! A lot of these ancient seabirds even had teeth in their beaks!
