I always try to talk people into being enthusiastic about getting called for jury duty.
One argument I’ve had some luck with is saying:
If you were accused of a crime, what kind of people would you be hoping to have on your jury? Do you think you’d have them?

When you are called for jury service go fucking serve. Especially if you are Black. It is just as important as voting.
