We need to stop calling every talk with Iran a “deal.”
A ceasefire is not a deal. A treaty is not a deal. War is not a deal.
Language matters. This language reveals a worldview. The president’s role is not CEO, the White House is not a boardroom, and global conflicts are not business transactions
