Daniel Cordier (1920–2020)
Daniel Cordier was an openly gay French resistance fighter who played a vital role in the French Resistance during World War II. Born in Bordeaux in 1920, he joined the underground movement under the codename "Caracalla" and became the personal secretary to Jean Moulin.
