I'm trying to locate a research paper I read that found that filing nonfiction graphic novels under Dewey by subject had lower circulation -- I believe even when faced out in that section -- relative to circulation when in a separate graphic novel section. #libcomix #educomix #comicslibrarianship
Humanities are cheap. They also offer the best bang for the buck in higher education. Closing humanities does not save money. It was never about the money in the first place.
