Dear BBC; I am available to take Doctor Who in a new direction.
When I was young, porn was commonly found in bushes. And come to think of it, bushes were commonly found in porn.
I’m at the Vollpension cafe (as recommended below) for my last piece of Vienna cake before I go home (sniffle). This strawberry gateau is delicious and I had a chat with one of the lovely staff, who praised my rusty German! ❤️
I love Doc H's handy capybara tutorial so much, I thought I'd like to draw a capybara too, so I did.
Would anyone like to join in?
Am now back in Blighty, but here’s a catch-up thread on my last few Vienna visits. Yesterday I took a bus in the rain to western Vienna to see a villa built by Otto Wagner in the 1890s. It fell to ruin but was rebuilt by kitschy visionary artist Ernst Fuchs (1930–2015) and is now a museum to him.
The best bit of the Ernst Fuchs Museum, however, is the west wing, which has been restored to Otto Wagner’s original Art Nouveau design, with stained glass windows by Adolf Boehm, decorative stuccowork by Joseph Maria Olbrich, and lovely mosaic snakes on the floor.
The gardens of the Ernst Fuchs Museum also include the Fountain House, Fuchs’s own colourfully tiled water feature made of a mash-up of Catholic and mythological imagery because that’s the kind of guy he was.

Oh no, Anthony Head has died. He always seemed such a lovely man. Cabin Pressure is very dear to my heart, of course, but it's also hard to underestimate the massive cultural behemoth that the Gold Blend ads were when we were teenagers, quoted constantly. "You're late, we're ON the coffee."

Last Vienna pitstop was this morning: a tour of the Emil Löwenbach Apartments, which have an interior designed by modernist contrarian architect Adolf Loos in 1913. The space now houses Vienna Bridge Club, hence all the card tables, but the tours are helping to fund a restoration of Loos’s interior.

Here’s a very quick tutorial of how I build a basic capy. Hope it’s helpful!
