I come from a political world that had little serious pushback against sexism, and MeToo was a big part of that world disintegrating.
I appreciate that there are people like Alan out there pushing back hard against the idea that treating women badly is unavoidable or somehow more authentic.

It sure *sounds* like weāre supposed to live in a world where working class men can be toxic and awful and we should embrace thatās as authentic, and working class women presumably simply get abused. And thatās supposed to be ok.
