The number of Spiked Star-of-Bethlehem (Onithogalum pyrenaicum) along these verges was unbelievable! #WildflowerHour
Grasses, Ox-eye daisies (Leucanthemum vulgare),Yellow Rattle (Rhinanthus minor) and much more at Ashton Court meadows in Bristol.

Highlight of my week was urban plant hunting around Conwy with the wonderful @nicwilson.bsky.social. I set ourselves a challenge: to find a species not recorded in the town before. And voilá! Nic spotted Cape-jewels growing in a crack beside some steps. Always something new to find. #wildflowerhour
Since starting #NoMowMay, and a patch of #NoMowSummer, the tiny Thyme-leaved Speedwell (Veronica serpyllifolia) has become a regular among my #LawnFlowers. But until today I’d not looked close enough to spot the glinting tiara of glandular hairs on the fruits
