“Backwoods Bunny”, directed by Robert McKimson, was released on this day in 1959. McKimson debuted two new characters, Pappy and Elvis. In this short they are buzzards voiced by Daws Butler. They are chickenhawks in a Foghorn Leghorn short called “The Dixie Fryer”.
