So I believe in hell of some kind (because human experience cries out for justice), but I don't think it's eternal nor that anyone remains there indefinitely.
So three cheers for the agony of food poisoning, I guess.
One of the things that turned me off of the belief in eternal conscious torment in the afterlife for the unbeliever was having a half hour of diarrhea one time and struggling to see how a God of goodness and justice and mercy could give someone that or worse forever and ever without end.
The Charles W Morgan kit arrived and I am so deeply intimidated. Fortunately I have deadlines and can't think about it just yet.
