New study from Taija Mäkinen's lab @taijamakinenlab.bsky.social at the #WRIHelsinki discovering an essential role for the major angiogenic receptor VEGFR2 in lymphangiogenesis 👇 tinyurl.com/47bns9pp
How VEGF-C drives functional lymphangiogenesis was unclear. Schoofs et al. show VEGFR2 is required for VEGF-C-VEGFR3-dependent sprouting while VEGFR3 alone drives growth, revealing coordinated receptor signalling in lymphatic network formation.
