more and more i'm coming around to the importance of the independent agency model, which directly contradicts the unitary executive nonsense, which once again proves just how central nuking this court's power is to any reconstruction agenda

Dr. Samantha Hancox-Li
This is definitely true but I wouldn’t be surprised if this SCOTUS would turn around and say that legislation limiting the powers of acting agency heads is unconstitutionally restrictive of the powers of the unitary executive (another reason court reconstruction is necessary).

I get that this would be closing the barn door after the horses are long gone, but I do think some legislation that limits what an "acting head" can do in terms of personnel and policy is something to kick around in the next couple of years.
