Swimming regularly in the Ladies’ Pond is probably among the things I miss most about living in London. So very happy to see this decision be taken as a nice outlier to the general direction of travel!

This is good news, and it matters beyond the ponds themselves. It's a reminder that, as others have said, the horrifying rollback of trans rights in the UK over the last year and change has happened wholly without a democratic mandate. When the people get a say, they demand inclusion.
