Our recent paper in discusses self-reported use of hand gestures in social interaction in subjects with depression or schizophrenia. Only in psychosis did self-report correlate with objectively impaired gesture behavior. @hein-lab.bsky.social and others not on bluesky rdcu.be/fnAQS
