Without him, his entire movement falls apart. It’s a cult of personality. The danger then comes from the Dems normalizing his successors rather than pouncing on crisis and destroying the remnants. Which they are more likely to do, because they exist to discipline the left and rehabilitate the right.

So many people rooting for Donald to bite it but if he dies in office I feel like it's going to be the nightmare scenario of the "competent" fascists in office without him needing to bother to win an election. Donny sucks but he's also a massive monkey wrench in everybody's planning too
