Checked out Lee Cronin's The Mummy. Daughter kidnapped in Egypt, found 8 years later, but she's not the same Katie. Appearance, mannerisms, & behavior are all off, & harming her family & sowing chaos is her forte. Loaded w/ the body horror & tension Cronin is known for. #horror
Checked out HIM. Wanted to like it but fell flat for me. Protagonist wants to become the GOAT & trains w/ the current GOAT but has to compromise himself & morals. Commentary on race & who profits off athletes, plus a weird blood ritual. Uncomfortable watch & soundtrack didn't help. Disappointing

Ready for this months @yokoikids.bsky.social Surprisingly, this game is not an early rhythm game where you press A & B in time w/ Metallica's hits, nor is it a GameBoy visual novel retelling Hemingway's classic w/ an all-frog cast during the Spanish Civil War. Instead it’s a Zelda-esque action RPG!
Checked out Undertone. A real assault on the auditory senses. Podcasters find 10 audio snippets & each one reveals more truth of an evil entity. Does a fantastic job of creating a atmospheric tense setting. Had me looking over my shoulder the whole time #horror
Checked out Ready or Not: Here I Come. Picks up where its predecessor left off. When a bride wins the game new rules happen, other families are allowed to join the hunt for an ultimate seat of power. Grace & Faith aren’t about to make it easy for them. Lots of fun, gore, & #horror
Checked out Hokum. Adam Scott plays a writer who travels to Ireland to spread his parents' ashes and stays at a hotel where a witch is locked in the honeymoon suite. A missing woman and a murder mystery lead him into danger. Creepy, tense, and full of chills. Loved it. #horror

Checked out We Bury the Dead. Meteor lands in Australia & large amounts of people are knocked offline in a coma like state. Teams of survivors go back to bury/burn their dead since if they wake up they come back “zombie” like but w/ some semblance/memories of the past #horror really enjoyed
Checked out 28 Years Later: Bone Temple. Continues the previous film's story. You spend time w/ Old Nick's cult 👎 & Ralph Fiennes 👍, which was great. Lots of strong moments, & you get to see the full cycle of the Rage Virus devastating the land. Pretty good overall & the ending is amazing #horror
