So I've just started playing Max Payne 3 for the first time and it's immediately very clear that Tony Scott must have been the No1 inspiration for a lot of the vibe of this. There's a little Michael Mann as well maybe? But a shit load of Scott.

The editing and tone is straight out of Man of Fire or Domino.
This is a fantastic film, Baldwin is so watchable as this charismatic sociopath. Great cast in general actually.
