I'll even go as far as to say a big reason I feel less creative than I used to be is BECAUSE old DA is gone.
The community we used to have there and all the work, sketchwork, etc we could see from artists played a big role in inspiring me to get more creative and try things

i totally winged the flowers, just trying to make them look as organic as possible, made up or otherwise
a big reason i struggle to make art (outside of commissions) anymore lately is fear
i really need to break that mindset and let myself be creative in any way i feel like without worrying about things
you know its that time of the month when you cry for no reason
Just a note that I am no longer dealing at Anthrocon this year!
Things have come up that will be preventing me from dealing at my full potential this year :( But! I will still be attending! And I so look forward to being there! 💕
How we were notified of our fav artists posts, being able to see whole galleries freely, communities for specific things whenever we wanted
All of that ENCOURAGED us and built us up together, but now were stuck on scrolling sites that bury all our work.
if you’re also afraid to make/share your work, try not to be afraid and let yourself be creative, we’ll trap ourselves forever if we wait till were not afraid anymore
No I won't stop talking about how frustrating it is to no longer have this
I'll complain until maybe hopefully one day we have something like this again, we need it.
