Dude you are literally strawmanning. YOU are the one equating adults doing things with other adults as "ERP in front of minors" just because minors exist on the platform. Do you demand that adult books be taken out of bookstores and libraries because children are allowed in those spaces? Fuck off.
Bsky doesn't prevent you from screenposting a guy tho
From the Patreon! Fox and Falco, if I was allowed to be the costume designer Patrons get these early birdy~ hint hint nudge nudge

The problem is, if VRChat DID fully endorse it, and banned everyone under 18 from being on the platform altogether, that's a tacit admission that it deserves an AO rating, limiting them from the other end by being specifically for adult content and being banned from multiple platforms as a result.
Not because the users want an adults-only platform specifically. But because normal adults don't want to keep running into barriers in communicating with other normal adults about whatever they want without risk of being unnecessarily censored by the platform. Which includes fetish material.
I don't give a shit what VRChat "wants" on the platform. The people actually paying them money aren't the minors, it's the adults. They are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT AWARE that their platform is used with adult sexual content in mind, but their rating requires them to not publicly endorse it.

Now, you'll notice that most every single social media platform is in the exact same boat. They want to be a PUBLIC space, which allows them to include EVERYONE. Many of them WANT to ban adult content because it would make advertisers happy. But the moment they do, their userbase will evaporate.
