The tech bros believe they should be running the world not democratically elected governments. They are using AI and crypto currencies to build a global political and economic system run by them, completely outside current nation state rules and regulations.

The hype over LLMs involves the pushing of the "general AI superintelligence" as a threat. The real threat, far more proximal than that relatively distant possibility, is not even the LLMs themselves, it's the humans using them.
