Uusimpien tietojen valossa talous kasvoi lähes prosenttiyksiköllä vuosina 2024 (0,9) ja 2025 (0,8). Siitä huolimatta työttömyys vain jatkoi kasvuaan. Tämä viittaa siihen, että pelkän viennin varassa on vaikeaa saada tasapainoista talouskehitystä, jos samalla kotimarkkinoita heikennetään sopeutuksin.
