It's been incredibly rewarding working with Aysha Haddington-Ahmed and Elizabeth Evens on this comic about clinical staff working in healthcare with patients that have experienced sexual violence. The comic explores the barriers that both patients and staff may face in addressing these issues. 1/3

Our volunteers Aysha Haddington-Ahmed and Elizabeth Evens have developed essential sexual violence education for healthcare professionals and students.
They worked with artist @mereida.bsky.social to turn their education work into a comic.

A great example of using speech bubbles, panelling, and visual metaphor to make a comic about an otherwise simple conversation rich with meaning and information. #graphicmedicine #sciart
A year late but since Crosby Hall is coming round again here's my flyer for last year's zen retreat organised by www.izauk.org. Inspired by Antony Gormley's Another Place on Crosby Beach
Thanks @dannija-yes.bsky.social @claireplmartin.bsky.social @drannehanley.bsky.social for the collaboration and support.

This comic is part of the 'Histories of Sexual Health in Britain, 1918-1980' project at the University of Birmingham. We are grateful also to @rapecrisistn.bsky.social for supporting the work. You can download the comic here: rctn.org.uk/health-prof-comic/

I had the best time chatting comics craft and organising events with Nigel and Tazziii - thanks for having me!
My third zine for @knowlewestmedia.bsky.social and @wecanmake.bsky.social, telling the story so far of the Retrofit Street project, how Andover Road residents have been working together with experts and the kwmc/wcm team to co-design solutions to make their homes better for people and planet.
Some pages from the zine - making a comic felt like the best way to show the project's different facets and explain the co-design process that makes this approach to retrofit so unique. We wanted to reflect the experiences of the residents taking part, their joys, concerns and learning throughout.
