✊ This week, together with LIFE President (lifeplatform.eu/), we met with Commissioner Costas Kadis to push for concrete next steps to achieve fairness for small-scale fisheries in Europe.
Encouragingly, there was strong recognition from @ec.europa.eu that small-scale fisheries must be a priority 💪
Mangrove restoration is thriving in Madagascar's Barren Isles! 165 hectares have been planted and counting, surpassing our 150 hectare target; powered by women and youth leading the way in community management.
