Ed Miliband has been the most effective minister in this Government. And his policies ARE leading to one of the few areas of real job growth Diluting these policies will lead to loss of GDP and a greater loss of jobs so a wise PM will stand up to Unions wrong headedness on this very very robustly

It seems to have become commonplace to blame net zero for Britain’s high energy bills and/or weak job market… … and I guess I’ll have to explain again why there is very little evidence of this. Britain has plenty of economic problems; net zero is not high on that list (though climate change is) 🧵
