Laura Finchwood
Thanks for sharing your birdie, Indi! I really enjoyed drawing them. They fit right into my current birdwatching phase.
I hope you like it!
By the way:
If you'd rather skip my personal posts (birds, nature, food, and occasional stuff on my health journey) and only see art, feel free to mute/block #LauraTalks. That way you'll only see my art-related uploads. 👌
🥹 Look at them monching.
A whole flock of these little guys visits my balcony several times a day to eat and bath together, sometimes 10–12 at once.
City life has taken a lot from me, but these tiny birds keep me grounded. They've become quite important to me.

Do I have any bird nerds following me?
My balcony camera (the one I use to spy on birds like a perfectly normal person) picked up a new guest at the feeder today. The image quality is incredible, I know, but could this be the back of a great spotted woodpecker? 🤔 (~20cm)

„Hold It In The Box“
Much love to everyone who has to cope with meltdowns, shutdowns, and the unbearable blend of both while trying to keep going in a world that rarely slows down.
What a godforsaken state to be in.

Don't worry, I don't usually draw vent art. But my goodness, dear Lord above, the last few days have been barely bearable, and I was hoping to work through at least a little of it this way.

Let me introduce my truesona.
I've rarely felt so connected to a character. Creating her helped me come to terms with life as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person. In fact, I've already been thinking about her since last summer.
I hope I can do her justice 🤍
