this also applies to like... it is so unbelievably easy to not play games under BDS. there are so many games out there. you can't be saying "there are 10,000,000 new games on steam every day" and "i simply have to cover this ethically compromised work" in the same breath.
there's a way in which a lot of the media coverage on AI use in games is beginning to converge on "well they're all using it, regardless of disclosure", in a way that so quickly turns into "so why bother caring", and I can't stress enough that it is still actually really easy to avoid AI games.
