Nobody deserves to have their car firebombed for putting their head above the parapet and getting stuck in with activism in their communities.
The point of democracy is that we can disagree, but we don't settle disagreements with arson or violence, but at the ballot box, or in political chambers.
Impractical, intrusive and inhumane - @rachelmillward.bsky.social responds to the ECHR guidance on behalf of Green Party leadership.
There is something profoundly cruel about the timing of such a statement being made and/or released. Of course, this is something that we, as trans people, probably now expect when we enter awareness periods, like Trans Day of Remembrance or Pride month, and it's all kinds of messed up.

We are writing to our leadership and elected representatives to express our utmost disappointment following the lack of Green voices during the Parliamentary debate on the Code of Practice, and we will be asking for urgent clarification on why this was the case.
I would suggest that those who support trans inclusion in the WI (presently closed to new trans members) and guides (where trans guides are due to be excluded in September) have an urgent discussion with the relevant organisations.
