I'm extraordinarily lucky to have been offered a fairly generous PhD package by a university with the resources to do so, which has finally offered us some genuine stability.... at least for the next six years.
No telling what comes after that, though, which is also quite scary.
St. Paul farmer's market I love you
everyone loves a little lunar lander 🧑🚀
When I was watching the movie with my partner I mau have turned to her and said "I NEED his sweater," so this was an exciting discovery for me.
We've been in very tight financial straits for years given her serious chronic illness and this is an incredible opportunity for some real stability (for the next six years, at least). We're both very excited to start this new chapter of our lives in Providence.
This is barely even a hypothetical for me. My partner has severe ME/CFS and cannot work. Our ability to live together is pretty dependent on my never experiencing a major health crisis, which is very scary.
May have made an important acquisition for a Project Hail Mary cosplay...
Apparently the company that designed Grace's fox sweater pattern in Project Hail Mary sells knitting kits to make your own and I may have made. An impulse purchase.
