I've long campaigned to replace the word 'Empire' with 'Excellence' in our honours system. I first raised it in Parliament in 2007!
It’s time to modernise the honours system and celebrate the best of Britain.
I've been calling for a kill switch on stolen mobile phones for a long time.
The Met Commissioner fully backs the plan.
If phones can be disabled remotely, they'll be far less attractive to thieves.
The phone companies should act. If they won't, we must legislate.
