Today is Loving Day, a reminder that only it was still illegal to be an interracial couple until recently. On June 12, 1967, the Supreme Court declared that the remaining anti-miscegenation were invalid.
Loving was key to Obergefell v Hodges in 2015 as well, it was cited as precedent leading up.
