Still listening to this in chunks and it keeps getting better. He mentions Jim Thompson, Harry Stephen Keeler, Valancourt Books and John Franklin Bardin, who I had never heard off before, but who sounds very interesting.

This is a great interview. I already thought pretty highly of Paul Giamatti, but my respect for him has increased exponentially. Dude really knows his stuff. I was not expecting him to namecheck Robert W. Chambers and William Hope Hodgson.
