Someone forwarded me the email and phone number and… I kinda want to call them.

Today in new publishing scams, someone isn’t just impersonating me… they’re using fake email accounts to pose as editors and referring writers to “me”.
That’s a whole new level of layers.
Friends please double check email addresses when you got unsolicited outreach? Lots of bad actors out there.
