#Cubs stunned by the Blue Jays 8-6. They were up 5-0 after 6 innings thanks to home runs by Matt Shaw and PCA. Unfortunately, the bullpen coughed this one up with Thornton, Thielbar, and Webb giving up 8 runs in the 7th and 8th innings. Total choke job
It was #OTD in 2008 that Jim Edmonds hit 2 home runs in a single inning against the White Sox. The Cubs sent 14 batters to the plate to score 9 runs in the fourth inning. Edmonds hit a solo home runs to lead off the inning off Jose Contreras. Edmonds hit another solo shot, this one off Boone Logan.
It was #OTD in 1969 that Ron Santo clicked his heels for the first time. The Cubs were about to lose the first game of a Wrigley double-header to the expansion Montreal Expos, but rallied for four runs in the ninth, capped by a Jim Hickman walk-off two-run homer.

#Cubs Win! They thump the Blue Jays 16-2! Carson Kelly was 2-4 with 6 RBI and a grand slam, PCA was 3-3 with 2 walks and 2 stolen , Seiya was 3-5 with 2 RBI, Happ was 2-4, Nico 3-6 and Ben Brown gave up 2 runs in 6 innings of work! Fly the flag, sing the song!
