sorry if that sounds bitter... it is. i just get exhausted from how my favorite things are discussed online, i totally understand a critical view and pointing out their flaws, but it's almost like people split into fields of ignoring an artwork as a whole for said flaws, or blindly embracing -
said artwork like those flaws dont exist at all or cant be criticized.
i find neither intelligent or good, and considering that this black or white view sums up discussions of like 95% of things online, i'll keep on quietly existing in my own little corner with no interest in these conversations.
i likely dont do big numbers anywhere because of this, but if it means i'll still love what i love, those numbers can remain small or even decrease.
