Congratulations to Annabel from The Maynard School who is the 1st winner of our branch competition. Her winning entry had links to both physical + human geography, but also reflected on what Devon means to her. Thank you to the schools that entered and we look forward to seeing more next year.

An evening listening to @guyshrubsole.bsky.social and others in Exeter was inspiring. So lovely to hear positive stories about the environment, and what is being done to protect our temperate rainforest. Left with so many ideas to update our lesson about temperate rainforest 🌳🌧
So very excited and humbled to have been nominated to be @geographicalassoc.bsky.social President 2027-28. If you'd like to use your vote for me I would be very honoured. geography.org.uk/election-ga-...
I am really looking forward to the @geographicalassoc.bsky.social conference. My Y9 classes have been using sustainability stools to decide how sustainable it is to modernise salt mining in Ethiopia. I'll be sharing how I have used these throughout our curriculum in my session.
