Ofc the context that the term is used in explains but heres how i see it
I see an echo-chamber as a general term for people who are only Yes-men. Its good have nice kind friends! you just do not want ones who brown-nose and wont push back on bad ideas. You want both kindness and honesty :D

I see the "echo-chamber" thing is being thrown around again.
If someone spent all their time letting their social circle become a place of constant arguing, insults, and harassment, you wouldn't consider them a stable, healthy person.
