New article! 🐟 This study examines the migration and mortality of European seabass in two ICES stocks. Our findings show mixing and movements between these areas, and have led to a revision of the stock assessment carried out by the ICES. #seabass @icesmarine.bsky.social

Great job @melaniedebelgarric.bsky.social !
Which exploitation strategy should be adopted for salmonid metapopulations? 🎣 Could knowledge of source-sink dynamics improve their management?
Our latest paper is just out!

Simulations results 📈 suggest being not selective as the best strategy 💡
Last week, I took part in the FSBI-IFM 2025 symposium at Queen's University Belfast. It was a pleasure to meet and listen to so many interesting and friendly people from all over the world🌍, and to present my current project🐍🐟 in such a beautiful venue☀️. See you again, guys! 🐟
My first PhD paper is out! 🐟 😄 If you are interested in Bayesian modelling, migratory fish abundance, long time series of mark-recapture data, and other topics, go check it out!

🎉 I'm excited to share my first post here with a great news: I successfully defended my PhD! 🥳
My research explored how bioenergetics models (#DEBtheory) can help us understand the evolutionary potential of freshwater species facing environmental variability. 🌿🌊
