On a dark train of thought. Do you think hangman* ever came close to raising a hand against his kid when he was deep in rage at swerve and the world and himself and maybe that was the moment he knew he had to claw himself out of the dark or die trying
*The Character Obviously
In an off air promo after his Owen match with Kyle Fletcher hangman talked about how he'd been stewing in grief and anger and hate for 2 years and how he "took it home". And how he was trying so hard to be different so he could be a father worth being looked up to by his son. It just seems plausible
But then that just makes hangman's entire 2026 a feud with mjf that ended exactly where it started. When there were all these hanging loose threads with him and Kenny and swerve that would be more fruitful to pull on.
The issue with podcasts is when I disagree with them and argue with their points they can't actually hear me. Reduced to ranting at nothing in my bedroom doing my chores it's humiliating
Also (treading carefully here cause I LIKE MJF and think some people go way too far speculating about his politicking etc) there's an indignant piece of me feeling like mjf is trying to take his place as hangman's Eternal Rival and respectfully. That is swerve's spot >:(
On the one hand as I've said I'm very appreciative to mjf for keeping the hangman flame alive by mentioning him all the time. On the other it does seem likely that this is building to him vs hangman at all in and I... Am conflicted about that as the move
Like first where can they really go having done Texas death, with as high stakes as it was... With mjf having beaten hangman clean too, it doesn't really have weight for them to just run it back. I know the speculated story is this match would put the stip on the line again so hangman can challenge
"playtime" and it's just him lying on his back lazily swiping at stimulating objects... He's just like me fr
