Comics stuff usually gets more engagement than anything else I write about, with a small but notable boost if it's about a strip that currently appears in the weekly Beano. I am of course currently putting this to the test by writing about obscure and short-lived strips from the 70s.
(If I'd noticed this a few days ago, that post could have had a much funnier title than it does.)
Something I happened to notice just now: In very early editions of Ali's Baba Ali has a 'G' on his chest, presumably meant to stand for 'guardian', although this seems to get dropped quickly.
