Beautiful Jane—how sad I am to say farewell, but how lucky I am to have called you friend and mentor. Jane Yolen left us with 450 published books, but perhaps her greatest legacy will be the love and support she shared with so many of us writers and illustrators in the children’s book community.
Like so many in the #kidlit community, we at #12x12PB mourn the loss of the great Jane Yolen. We were so lucky to have her 2x as a webinar guest, one the year her 365th book was published (now 450). So grateful for the memories and, of course, her immense body of brilliant work. Goodbye, dear Jane.
