Morning commute! Off to a new archive for me 😁
After reading desperately sad letters all day about the death of Princess Amelia it’s time for a little anatomical fun! Iykyk
Fueled & ready to storm the castle, I mean archives! Wish me luck, I am on the hunt to figure out who the elusive pot stirrer at court is, she is only ever referred to by a nickname🤞🤞🤞
So excited to be back in the Royal Archives & pro-tip — when you are a historian you get to arrive before all of the tourists 😍

In my happy place!
Please enjoy a few stunning 18th century gowns
Hello old friend!
Please start your day, like I did, with this magnificent French Marshal’s uniform from the Battle of Blenheim (1704)
Today in TB & fashion history collide I got to see the gown Elenora di Toledo (wife of Cosimo de Medici) was buried in after her death from consumption in 1562. Her gown had to be overlapped to account for her shrunken frame. It was amazing to see this 16th century survivor! #fashionhistory #histmed
