We are all thrilled to be hosting the games across our offices in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island & Westchester.
This World Cup belongs to the people.
This World Cup belongs to you.
¡Sí se puede!
Tickets for the game might be crazy expensive, but this is Our Copa.
The World Cup is for the people, not for millionaires. /END
In a city as diverse as NYC, where there is no end to the number of vibrant immigrant communities, our love for the game is something that unites everybody. /3
Soccer is truly the global game.
It’s a sport for all of us—young and old, immigrant or born in NY, no matter what language you speak or religion you practice. /2
As ICE threatens to ramp up enforcement ahead of the World Cup, New Yorkers are coming together to defend our communities.
With over a million visitors expected for the World Cup, we are making one thing clear: immigrants belong here.

🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Queens Pride was a vibe!
This past Sunday, our Trans Immigrant Project (TrIP) members marched alongside our Queens community to celebrate Trans & Queer New Yorkers but also demand ICE out of our communities.
We also invited our neighbors to our 15th TransLatinx March on July 18th!
“While this will mean more people can be helped, it does not meet the need, given the scale of the attacks our communities are facing from the federal government,” said Natalia Aristizabal, our Co-Executive Director.
"Harold Solis, [our] co-legal director, told the Prospect that grouping 100 or more people into mass hearings “will undoubtedly wreak havoc across the immigration courts” and deny individuals any semblance of due process."
⚽️✊HAPPY WORLD CUP DAY!
It is so important for us to open our doors and welcome in our community to share in the joy that is the World Cup. /1
⚽️The World Cup belongs to the people, not ICE.❌🧊
Today, we joined @handsoffnyc.bsky.social, @nycimmigrants.bsky.social & allies for the launch of #HandsOffOurCopa, a citywide campaign to prepare New Yorkers, protect immigrants, and ensure everyone can celebrate the beautiful game without fear. 1/2
