Ngl, always been surprised others don't know about this - it's a top priority if you use signal for secure things anyways, since otherwise the messages are literally visible on the lock screen!
Changing this setting in Signal sounds like a good idea ☝️

FBI was able to extract Signal messages from the iPhone’s notification DB even though Signal was deleted.
(Remember notifications are an iOS thing and not a Signal app thing, in the sense that the OS provides a mechanism to do notifications. See next post for more info)
